TEEN LOVE AND
RELATIONSHIPS
Have you ever heard your parents
say, “You are too young to love, too young to get heart and to young to involve
yourselves in a relationship?” Well, doesn’t history repeat itself? Were they
not there as we are now? The answer is, “Yes,” you could call it what you like,
or phrase it how you feel, no matter what age you find your heart at the moment
your life begins to struggle thru these
fails or conquests, it’s all the same. This is the base of how our
emotions develop in love and prepare us for our future emotional struggles. We
could say that these step by step challenges are just like a baby taking its
first steps, its first words and how a baby learns to trust the ones they love.
Young love and relationships among our opposite genders are more alike than
what you think.
Our opposite genders boy's or
girls, go through the same situations when it comes down to relationships and
love; but one can’t even imagine that this could even be true. This is because each of our opposite genders
internally experiences something inside that the other can’t see, but quite
frankly it’s because we are so afraid to express our emotions out loud and trap
ourselves on what the other might say. We go through the struggle of how our
opposites feel like the boy/girl, imagining if he or she likes them or not. We
sometimes over think through our emotions for too long and struggle through
battles within ourselves which we can’t explain; we presume it might be to
build character. Then when we look back with a straight mind and realize that
we could have learned what we both had felt by just talking. When this happens things
turn out way different than what we imagined and wanted; creating frustrations,
sorry and disappointments. Many of these situations occur throughout our
teenage years, because we refrain from self-expression and lack confidence. For
example, when a guy likes a girl and he knows that the girl likes him he sits
and waits for the girl to text him and on the other side the girl is doing
exactly the same thing. The best approach for this is just to say something
when you see the person face to face. If the boy is shy hint that it would be
nice if he would text you or give the boy a little confidence to push for that
first move.
